A Lessoned Learned Young

YOUTH BIBLE STUDY COURSEWhen I think about my life I am brought back to happy childhood memories. I remember starting kindergarten as a little girl. It was so much fun packing my backpack and walking to school with my mom and sister every day. I only had half a day of school so my mom would pick me up and we would go to the store or the park.

She would read to me and my sister bible lessons for youth every day. My sister is almost 2 years younger than me and we had lots of fun playing together. I remember playing house and dolls. We would go play outside and ride our little bikes.

I specifically remember a time when I was about 5 years old and I realized that if you don’t listen to your mom bad things will happen. She told me do not leave the gate. I played with the idea of disobeying her and leaving the gate. I inched closer and closer to the gate. When I got close enough to open the gate, I slowly opened the gate, and I peeked my head out. Boom, I got hit by a kid riding a bike. I quickly pulled my head back in while I cried hysterically. I knew at that moment, that if I did not obey my mom I would pay the price. She still comforted me although I deserved every bit of the consequence.

That night when she read our youth bible study lessons to us, she read about obedience. She reminded us of the importance of our decisions and that we have to make good choices all the time. I wish I would have learned my lesson then. Even though you know the truth about something, it does not mean you always do what is right.

Inspirational Messages Can Help in Times of Need

Monday, January 2nd, 2012

Everyone has a moment in life when they are feeling down or depressed. Inspirational messages can really be beneficial during these times. These messages can be found online or even at a local church. Local churches are a good place to go if you would like to hear weekly inspirational messages. They can be good for lifting your spirits and helping put you in a better mood. Inspirational speeches can also be found on the web. You can find videos that offer words of wisdom and confidence. You can also write inspirational poems for yourself. Think about what you would say to someone who is going through the same thing you are currently going through. You would be surprised at how you can boost your own mood when thinking from the outside looking in. Poems can also offer encouragement during hard times. You can find poems in book or also search for them on the web.

Zakat, the Pillar of Islam

Friday, December 23rd, 2011

Zakat brings equality and justice among humans and especially Muslims. This is due to Zakat that people do not distinguish themselves from each other in terms of wealth. In easy words, we can say that Zakat is a replacement of tax because it needs to be paid by wealthy people to the needy people, where as tax is to be borne by individuals anywhere. By paying tax, poor people become poorer. However, in contrast to receiving Zakat, they need to pay anything.

Zakat is not an easy topic to understand, and as far as the belief of Muslims is concerned, they should understand this topic in light of Holy Quran and acts performed by Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Zakat is voluntarily on people, who have a certain quantity of wealth as prescribed in the Holy Quran. Zakat cleans the wealth of Muslims as said in the Holy book of ALLAH.
